'Dynamically' Textured Clouds (Maya)

So check this out... I was looking at the new update for Soup (probably not new but I just decided to take a look) and I ended up on Vimeo looking at a tutorial. I saw about 10 seconds into it and realized that they did something I didn't think Maya could do... moving a texture.

Turns out the trick behind it was the fact that you could texture the fluid container by having the shading method set to gradient, but yet have the velocity set to dynamic. With that said, I just added a volume axis field with a high value (just for results) and ran it. It pushed nothing!!! The real secret is the texture's grid vs. fixed method. Grid turned on... accomplishment has been felt. Really excited right now!!!
